Performance software upgrade

Next-level responsiveness. The performance software upgrade increases the power of the electric motors to ⁨350 kW⁵⁩ (⁨469 bhp⁩) and the torque to ⁨740 Nm⁩ (⁨546 lbf-ft⁩). It includes launch control to provide maximum power from a standstill and works with the Performance app to check up on g-force and acceleration time.

20-inch Performance wheels

Using a manufacturing technique developed for motorsport, forged alloy wheels are pressed rather than cast, making them stronger than conventional wheels while allowing for more intricate detailing. With the specially developed Continental SportContact 6 tyres, they provide optimal handling and road contact.

Polestar Engineered chassis tuning

Refined performance for maximum driver engagement. Polestar Engineered chassis tuning provides precisely crafted control, with manually adjustable Öhlins’ Dual Flow Valve dampers that ensure optimal road contact, regardless of road surface or weather conditions.

Brembo brakes

Building on decades of motorsport experience, Brembo brakes are engineered to the highest performance and safety standards. The ventilated, drilled discs and four-piston aluminium callipers offer quick response at any temperature while reducing weight, wear, noise, and dust build-up.

Öhlins Dual Flow Valve dampers

With a shared uncompromising approach to engineering, Polestar and suspension experts Öhlins have jointly developed the DFV dampers for Polestar 2. They are adjustable up to 22 clicks to suit all driving styles while providing unparalleled grip, responsiveness, and balance.

Swedish gold accents

The brake callipers, seat belts, and valve caps are finished in Swedish gold, a nod to the performance-oriented nature and Scandinavian heritage of Polestar 2.
